Louisiana’s Medical Command & Joint Directorate, serving 9800+ Army and Air National Guard soldiers and RN Case Manager/ Medical Element Lead / OCTE (Part Time Role)

 

Commissioned Medical Officer responsible for the planning, implementation, supervision, training, and evaluation of the Combat Medic (68W) sustainment program.  

 

Oversaw routine annual health assessments to maintain medical readiness/fitness across the entire Joint Force Headquarters.  

 

Served as military liaison between civilian authorities, parish emergency management officials and supporting agencies, and the Joint Directorate of Military Support (JDOMS).  Responded to and supported command operations for over 47 declared emergencies.
